Pants down the butt?

Hmmm… Yesterday went to Tampines… right before crossing the road, there was a Malay guy standing in front. Guess what? He kept pushing his pants down….

By the time the traffic lights turned green… he was happily walking across with the pants halfway down his hip…

Moon’s reaction? 無言… @.@”‘

Last Night FU LU SHOU and MOON went down to Chinatown to view the opening of Vesak Day Celebration co joint by Chinatown CC and Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The occasion is ushered by a series of cultural event like lion, dragon dance and dances. The most important part of this event is the lighting up of the temple with lanterns….see pic

Before the lightings, we visited the Buddha Tooth Relic to checkout the amazing Temple….we are at the ground floor where the display of Maitreya Buddha and Avalokitesvara Buddha (Kuan Yin Pu Sha)…check the pics out….

Maitreya Buddha

Avalokitesvara Buddha

Oh not forgetting Shou’s Guardian Buddha….

Pu Xian(普贤) means universal goodness.

Pu Xian(Samantabhadra) Bodhisattva

is one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas.

He is often placed on the right of the Buddha

as the right-hand assistant

and as a guardian of Buddha-dharma.

He is usually portrayed

riding on a white elephant.

He represents the practice

and meditation in Buddha-dharma.

普贤的含义是普遍仁慈的意思。

普贤菩萨是四大菩萨之一。

他经常在佛的右边,

是佛的胁侍和护法。

他通常被描绘为骑着一头白象。

他代表佛法的实践与禅定。

Hong Lim Hawker Center

Today, Moon went to attend an ITIL Awareness course at George Street with colleagues. Lunch was settled at the Hong Lim Hawker Center.

Here you go….. these are the food we had…

Curry Noodles.. the stall said, “the one and only”… long queue of course!!

Fried Hokkien mee (but the Whampoa Market’s taste better)

wanton noodles.. longggggggggggg queue…

long queue too…

Seems like all the long queue ones are good… and drinks, we settled for home-cooked water-chestnut drink:

Moon has recently changed job and her new office is just right next to killiney road (can you guess where?)

Lunch and tea breaks are usually settled in a coffeeshop along killiney road. Moon’s colleagues call this place, 榕樹下, because there are several 榕樹 behind the coffeeshop.

There, they have a tze char stall and one of their specialties is Healthy Curry Fish Head. Why healthy? This is because, they do not use coconut milk and their fish head is always fresh. Check this out…

 AFTER

The boss also recommended Moon and 2 other friends to try this claypot chicken dish. As the boss was amused with Moon taking pictures of the food, when asked the name of the dish, he said “照相雞”. haha! Yeap, a very humorous boss. He said, only Moon can call it “照相雞”, others have to call it “乾香雞” (notice that they add curry leaves in it too).

It was so delicious that Moon’s friends requested for 1 more serving..
