Thaipusam

Check this out….today I was down town near Dhoby Ghaut and guess what hehehehe…………..I saw people carrying the Kavadi. It is Thaipusam Day…to find out more check out……http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaipusam.

The guys would carry the Kavadi and ladies would carry a churn of milk on their head. Interesting don’t you think so….

I managed to alight from my bus and rush across the road to take a few pictures….see below…

Kampong…hmm

Can you recall how the Kampong looks like? Those are the days where you could see houses in zinc roof or even atap. Atap is a kind of tree leaves which in the olden days, people use to dry them and subsequently use them for the roofing.

After a raining day, you will experience muddy ground and how about TADPOLES hehehe, if you are lucky. Perhaps Hibiscus flower could be seen surrounding the kampong area.

See picture below

Sylvia’s Healing Palms

What’s that?

Most people will ask… well, check it out: http://palmcentric.wordpress.com/

Sylvia is offering her services to heal people with her palms.

I’ve tried it personally. Believe it or not, it just took away my migraine (which I was having the whole day) in 1 healing session.

Yeap! Just like a miracle… with a twitch on my left cheek, my right side migraine went away!

Isn’t it amazing?

Goodbye 2007….that was what happened last night at Fu and Shou friend’s home. FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD and party oh my what a day for 2007. Auld Lang Syne for 2007 and great 2008 for everyone.
